আল-কোরআন, সূরা-মুনাফিকুন (৬৩), আয়ত-৬

سَوَآءٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ أَسۡتَغۡفَرۡتَ لَهُمۡ أَمۡ لَمۡ تَسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَهُمۡ لَن يَغۡفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمۡ  ۚ  إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَہۡدِى ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَـٰسِقِينَ 

তুমি তাদের (মুনাফিকদের) জন্য ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা কর অথবা তাদের (মুনাফিকদের) জন্য ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা নাই কর -- এ তাদের (মুনাফিকদের) জন্য একসমান। আল্লাহ্ কখনো তাদের (মুনাফিকদের) ক্ষমা করবেন না। নিশ্চয় সত্যত্যাগী লোকদলকে আল্লাহ্ সৎপথে চালান না।

قُلِ ٱللَّهُمَّ مَـٰلِكَ ٱلۡمُلۡكِ تُؤۡتِى ٱلۡمُلۡكَ مَن تَشَآءُ وَتَنزِعُ ٱلۡمُلۡكَ مِمَّن تَشَآءُ وَتُعِزُّ مَن تَشَآءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَن تَشَآءُ‌   ۖ   بِيَدِكَ ٱلۡخَيۡرُ‌   ۖ   إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ قَدِيرٌ 

বলো -- ''হে আল্লাহ্‌! সাম্রাজ্যের মালিক! তুমি যাকে ইচ্ছা কর তাকে সাম্রাজ্য প্রদান করো, আবার যার কাছ থেকে ইচ্ছা কর রাজত্ব ছিনিয়ে নাও, আর যাকে খুশী সম্মানিত করো, আবার যাকে খুশী অপমানিত করো, -- তোমার হাতেই রয়েছে কল্যাণ। নিঃসন্দেহ তুমি সব-কিছুর উপরে সর্বশক্তিমান।

Say - "O Allah!  The owner of the empire!  Give the kingdom to whom You will, and take away the kingdom from whom You will, and honor whom You will, and humiliate whom You will, - in Your hand is the good.  Undoubtedly You are the Almighty over all things.
